My journey
My passion for creating digital things started at a young age, whether I was doodling in Microsoft Paint or spending far too much time perfecting PowerPoint presentations. My journey into the world of design started at Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht, where I pursued a study to become an Interaction Designer. Here I built a solid foundation in digital design, but I was eager to dive deeper into research and human behavior.
That led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Multimedia Design. I specialized in behavior design, psychology, and user research. Rather than focusing solely on aesthetics, I am interested in understanding how people think, behave, and make decisions, and how design can influence those behaviors.
Today, my design approach is rooted in research and driven by human insights. My knowledge of psychology helps me make thoughtful, evidence-based design decisions, with an eye for visual details.
My believes
I am very dedicated, it's in my DNA to go the extra mile (literally, because I am a track athlete). I understand the significant impact we as designers have on the world.
With a background in Communication & Multimedia Design and a strong focus on research, I enjoy turning complex problems into meaningful designs. I believe the best solutions start with listening, asking the right questions and validating with users. By combining research, psychology and design, I aim to create experiences that make a real difference in people's everyday lives.
